Rep. Jon Hoadley Sworn In to Serve in Michigan House of Representatives
LANSING – State Representative Jon Hoadley (D-Kalamazoo) pledged to work hard on behalf of the people of the 60th House District as he was sworn into office at the state Capitol today.
“I’m thankful to the people of Kalamazoo for their trust in me, and I will work hard every day to be their voice in Lansing,” Hoadley said. “I will fight on their side for better schools and greater access to higher education for our kids, to invest in working families and our communities, for a Michigan economy that works for everyone, and a state that is welcoming to all.”
Accompanying Hoadley at his swearing-in were his partner Kris Dieterman, his mother Diane Hoadley and father Michael Hoadley, his sister Sara Anderson, and his nephew Joshua Anderson.
“I look forward to continuing to meet with the people of the 60th District in the coming months and learning from them how I can best serve them in the Capitol,” Hoadley said. “I want constituents to know that I am always available to them, whether by telephone, email or at events I will be holding in Kalamazoo. I urge people to stay in touch and let me know their thoughts, ideas and concerns about our state.”
